WEEK 3 - PEN TOOL EXERCISE (BEST COMPOSITION)
DESCRIPTION: This was the best composition Mr. Hafiz has pick for my week 3 task. I have used the golden ration to compose this collage. To cut out the people in the photo I have used various tools to make it happen which includes using the background remover option, lasso, selection brush tool, object selection and also the magic wand. For the background, I actually wanted to leave it plain as I was scared that the overall will be too overwhelming but instead it looks rather empty so I chose to cut out some shape using the selection brush tool to add on some layers for my composition.
WEEK 4 (ADJUSTMENT LAYERS & FILTERS )
DESCRIPTION: For this week, we were told to use layers and filters. At first I choose to play around with each tool first to see what suits best for my composition. I find that the fish should have a more interesting color as the fish itself in the composition was meant to be an intruder into the human world. For the guy that is sitting on the rooftop I added some outer glow for it as he stood off a bit. For the building, I used satin to create its shadow contrast, the same for the vending machine.
